Museum Docent
Nature is the pathway to science and invention! CCMNH is not only dedicated to educating and engaging the public with the natural world, but also to open our minds to what nature can teach us. We believe that nature is our classroom. The Museum’s programs, exhibits, field walks, and more reveal much about the interaction between humans and nature and serve as a center for citizen scientists and amateur naturalists. The Museum’s volunteers are its most valuable asset, providing expertise, ideas, and energy to virtually every aspect of the Museum’s operation. Volunteers are encouraged to share their passions and bring their unique skillset to the team!
Some things CCMNH offers: Interactive STEAM activities, aquarium, bird carving exhibit, observation beehive, local artifacts, beautiful views of the marsh, mud kitchen, Earth & Space Lab, butterfly house, community events, and whale programs.
