About The Opportunity: Volunteering for Children’s Cove may require volunteers to travel throughout the Cape and the Islands to bring awareness to child sexual abuse and Children’s Cove mission. Some of these awareness events could include orchestrating an informational table at a community event, going to local schools or community centers and providing resources, or organizing awareness of events independently. You may be asked to volunteer evenings or mornings during the week and on weekends in both indoor and outdoor settings. Because of the sensitive nature of the cases that come through Children’s Cove, and the confidentiality of the cases in which Children’s Cove works, volunteers do not work directly with children.
Who we're looking for: Children's Cove is looking for anyone who believes in our mission and is comfortable working in the Cape Cod community. Our volunteers must have reliable transportation to travel throughout the Cape as needed.
